I believe that growing brave, effective, human middle leaders has profound ripple effects across organisations – on the well-being, engagement and efficacy of their teams, the well-being of the families and communities of their people, and on the ability for real change across organisations to actually be implemented. They can be the roadblocks, the reasons why good people leave and innovations get stifled. They can also be the driving force behind profound change, the cultivators of cultures and the catalysts for outstanding human performance. I help these leaders push past the fear, the uncertainty and the quiet that holds them back and transform them into brave leaders that step into the challenges that we most need them to tackle.
I am a professional leadership coach, facilitator and speaker. Since 2006 my successful business, Nurturing Confidence, has been helping emerging leaders to gain more confidence, think more strategically and manage themselves more effectively. Working with individual leaders and their teams to build their resilience, transform their communication and step up to the best performance.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons I) [USyd], specialising in learning theory and developmental psychology. My professional background prior to establishing my business was in direct service delivery, organisational management, policy development and high-level strategic advice roles within the public sector. In 2007 I completed Accredited Coach Training with the Neuroleadership Group, I am an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and a Certified Practitioner in Conversational Intelligence®.

I am an inspiring speaker, known for my ability to energize and engage an audience with thought provoking, evidence-based but pragmatic thinking. I am humble and grounded by nature, enthusiastic and playful on stage.
