
Ashley Sweeting is an agtech and biotech commercialisation specialist. Most recently, he was the Australia GM in the animal division of Life Biosciences, a Boston-based bio tech, where he was commercializing molecules and technologies that delay the onset of age-related disease and extend longevity across numerous species. Developing and commercialising accompanying technology systems was also a key component of his work for Life Biosciences.
Prior to joining Life Biosciences, Ashley developed and launched a nation-wide innovation program for the Australian livestock industries with MLA. Ashley has worked in Australia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe on programs to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability, combat famine, communicable disease and improve livelihood for UNICEF, the International Red Cross, the Abu Dhabi Government and others.
Ashley was a finalist for a number of Australian journalist awards for the work he did covering the complexities of the Afghanistan conflict for Australia’s leading newspaper and public broadcaster.
Ashley most recently attained a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from Boston University. He also holds an MBA and has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural from Sydney University.
