Having worked in 3 different organisations within a 2 year period, I knew something was wrong. At first, I thought it was me, until I realised that it wasn’t. I then went in search of more evidence of how our people are being treated in the workplace and I became more determined to create workplaces that people love to come to, are appreciated when there and go home feeling fulfilled.
After creating and exiting a business for 10 years, I moved back into the corporate world. I began studying for my MBA and was ready to start making an impact. During the next 3 years, I achieved my Diploma of Workplace and Business Coaching, studying how to introduce a culture of coaching into the workplace.
I’ve gone back into the world of business, starting Culture Shift – a leadership training and workplace culture development company. I now work with new managers to help them lead with confidence and purpose, so they can create amazing workplaces. We are living in a time of diverse generations within our workplace – no longer can we accept the same style of leadership and management. It’s up to us to train our new wave of managers to lead with courage and purpose.
