My professional background is training and L & D. I received my Cert IV in Training & Assessment back in 2011, and have been working in a training/L & D capacity for 23+. I also possess certifications in Instructional Design, Mental Health 1st Aide and have completed the Beyond Blue Speaker Program training.
My skills set mostly focuses on soft skills training and facilitation. I’ve been delivering, facilitating and speaking to small and large audiences for over 20 years. I have a very outgoing personality and love working with and connecting with people from all walks of life and feel empowered when I speak in front of audiences and deliver information and stories.
Due to lived experience, and situational exposure to the suicide of 3 friends/co-workers over a 3-year period, I have a huge passion for mental health, and my recent talks through Beyond Blue focus on my own lived experience stories and promoting conversations around mental health.
23 years of experience as a soft skills and technical trainer have allowed me hone my facilitation and delivery skills. So, I’m very comfortable delivering talks and telling stories in one-on-one settings, medium groups and large auditoriums. I’m a people person – something you’ll probably notice once we meet. My love for people has led me to the passion i’m driven to now – mental health. In the past 3+ years, I’ve been volunteering in the mental health space, and have been delivering lived-experience talks as a Beyond Blue Speaker/Ambassador, across organisations in NSW.
