Justine Cooper
About me

Justine has extensive experience as an HR leader gained over 25-years working with leading organisations in the financial, legal and retail sectors. She has specialised in leading international HR strategies through transformation and has a proven track record both as an HR leader in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and in managing structural and cultural change.

Justine has lived, studied and worked across Australia, South East Asia, Continental Europe and the UK; and has led the design and implementation of diversity strategies across businesses. Today she partners with organisations across the Asia Pacific in fostering diverse and inclusive working cultures, to reap the many benefits of embracing diversity.

Justine has an Honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Kent, UK; a Masters in HR Leadership from Erasmus University, Holland; is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Certified Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.

Previous speaking experience

Justine is a regular speaker in the areas of diversity and inclusion, and cultural transformation, delivering keynotes for the National Association of Women in Construction’s International Women’s Day event, designing and moderating panel events from exploring diversity and inclusion through the lens of the growth mindset, to lessons learnt in cultural transformation. Externally in 2012 – 2013, Justine sat on the Executive Board of Women in Banking & Finance for 2 years. Prior to joining the Australian HR Institute NSW State Council in June 2018 she chaired AHRI’s Diversity Network for 3 years, and is an appointed AHRI awards judge.
