Serving more than a decade in the Australian Army including deployments to East Timor and Afghanistan, Rach Ranton knows leadership, teams and courage.
As an Electronic Warfare Operator her role was to intercept and analyse enemy communications. Often the only woman, she was embedded with frontline troops; providing advice to the commanders she stood beside on the battlefield.
When she forged her corporate career, Rach took what she learnt in the military about leadership, teamwork, culture and courage and applied it to her teams. She has led large sales and service teams in the finance industry and groundbreaking work in Autism, Neurodiversity and Veteran hiring across corporate Australia.
Rach is a TED speaker, best-selling author and award-winning leader. She received a commendation for her role in Afghanistan and in 2018 was named ‘Prime Minister’s Veteran Employee of the Year’ and ‘Professional Alumnus of the Year’ for her advocacy and organisational development work.
Her first book DAUNTLESS: Leadership lessons from the frontline launches 13th March 2020 (pre-sale from 7th Feb 2020)
TED Speaker, Corporate keynotes, Government motivational, and Business inpirational.
