As a young girl growing up in the hot climate of Arizona, Robin dreamt of being the cruise director on The Love Boat. Not having anyone’s guidance in how to pursue her career aspiration, Robin landed a job in banking and spent the first 20 years of her corporate career working for Blue Chip companies such as Bank of America, American Express and IBM. During this time Robin built her reputation by delivering complex change programs both domestically and globally, focusing on technical and employee change. She carved a niche in program management and people leadership.
In 2009 Robin chose to move to Australia to marry an Aussie, whom she met while working as a Director at American Express. It was in Sydney where she began her executive career in HR, as Corporate Services Director, taking on a major initiative to completely overhaul the cultural and performance structure of a rapidly expanding service provider company. She successfully implemented a new organisational design, developed and introduced a comprehensive performance management system and also launched a women’s network within a male dominated company. Throughout this journey Robin has found her highest energy comes from helping others to achieve their potential and pursue their goals.
Having been a Corporate Services Director, have done many speaking engagements to staff and clients, as well as women in leadership keynote speaking events. I enjoy sharing my struggles and how I overcame them to be living on purpose now. I have recently pivoted my speaking engagements to include migrants and refugees new to Australia, and how they can achieve success in Australia.
