
Samantha Meurant is a city girl turned country lady, living in the small town of Cunnamulla in South West QLD and is passionate about rural businesses.
With over 10 years of business experience, in both working within small companies, founding her own businesses and educating rural entrepreneurial founders. Samantha brings inspiration, empowerment and diversity when she speaking and hosting events.
Samantha understands rural life and the benefits and struggles that come with running a small business from a rural or remote area.
Founding The Rural Compass in May 2019, with a passion for telling other rural businesswomen’s stories, the podcast aims to inspire and empower other women to do the same and/or that they are not alone. As well as to create some coverage and awareness for those small rural businesses. She is also the co-founder of Big Ideas Rural a community and education membership platform to help in personal and professional development of rural businesswomen.
This wife and mother of one, is also a professional artist and runs social and mindfulness workshops both in-person to drought-affected areas of QLD and online to enable those in isolation to access them.
Samantha is a Mentor/Coach and conducts online courses and training alongside her business partner. Samantha also has an Associate Degree in Education, Diploma of Business, Diploma Business Management, Certificate in Graphic Design and Certificate in Web Design.
Samantha has a bubbly and vibrant energy. She understands that the speaker plays a crucial role in the success of any event and hosts according to the audience.
When it comes to hosting and speaking, Samantha believes that it must to be fun, memorable and engaging for the audience.
