Serpil Senelmis is co-Founder of Written & Recorded, a content marketing agency specialising in professional podcast production, SEO optimised copywriting, and communications training workshops. She helps businesses to get noticed by people and search engines.
Before following her entrepreneurial spirit, Serpil worked in the fast-paced world of daily broadcasting deadlines. A seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience across Australia’s mainstream media, Serpil honed her presentation skills by fronting programs on TV and radio. From playing rock song requests for WA miners in Karratha, to securing an exclusive live television interview with former Prime Minister Tony Abbott for the centenary of ANZAC Day in Gallipoli, Turkey – she’s covered a lot of media ground.
Known for her effervescent and down-to-earth personality, what makes Serpil a memorable presenter is her passion for the art of storytelling, her warmth and sense of humour, and her commitment to doing the necessary background research on presentation topics.
As a first generation Turkish-Australian, Serpil is passionate about cultural and linguistic diversity. When she was 14, she began co-hosting a bi-lingual weekly radio program with her dad. She also sat on the diversity and inclusion committee at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and made it her personal challenge to broaden the views and voices on Australia’s daily broadcast programs.
With her journalistic skills, Serpil can moderate panel discussions on any topic and is an accomplished MC and facilitator.
